In 1988 Ann Triplett formed her own representative agency for manufacturers.
The Pearson Triplett showroom in the LA Mart has been the hub of
operations for the company’s sales efforts for more than
19 years and has been featured twice in Beauty Fashion Magazine.
Ann’s career in sales and marketing spans more than 25 years and includes experience at every level of the market. Straight out of school with business diploma in hand (UCLA & University of Texas). Ann became the youngest fashion buyer for Bullocks’ Department Store chain. Ann was Account Manager for Revlon’s Southern California region. Working with major department stores, Ann began the business of overseeing a team of sales agents. She more than quadrupled annual sales in the West. Ann managed regional sales activities for Colonia Inc.; her activities included directing several dozen account executives, representative agencies, supervisors, and sales people. She also became involved in distribution strategies, negotiating compensation, and developing and planning promotions. As Regional Director for Revlon’s Princess Marcella Borghese division, sales grew to over $13M for the thirteen western states. A background in developing and planning sales strategies for some of the best known and most respected brands in fragrance, toiletries and cosmetics, translates well today for Pearson Triplett. Ann is consistent in her ability to develop and execute successful plans to grow sales for the brands that she and her team choose to represent.
Each member of the Pearson Triplett
sales organization has been chosen for both their special skills
and their expertise in the area of personal care. Pearson Triplett’s success is largely due to Ann’s
ability to build relationships, her keen sense of what will sell
and her skill for choosing the right manufacturers to partner with.
Being an effective middle woman takes patience and skill. Ann’s
many years in the business have given her both.
